Motormarine

The Company was initially founded in 1978 with the placement of a floating dock in the port of Santa Margherita Ligure, aimed at taking care and giving assistance to offshore boats.

Then it integrates its offshore activity with other ground assistance services, such as boat storage, mechanical and electrical maintenance together with painting and repairs.

In 1993 it associates itself with Ma.Mi. of Portofino, whose specialization was to build and sell traditional Ligurian boats named “gozzo”, in addition to the mooring and offshore services in Portofino.

In 2000 the two companies join together, integrating their own activities.

We have consolidated the relationships with Cartello Srl of Carasco, exclusive importer and distributor of the Yanmar brand for Italy, thus becoming Yanmar engines and spare parts and Nakashima screws dealers for the provinces of Genoa and La Spezia.

At present, in addition to producing the displacing traditional gozzo, we are manufacturing the semi-aquaplaning version, still maintaining the aesthetic features of the traditional boat but with higher performances.
